Our ethos is for our sewing and creative workshops to be as accessible, inclusive and as environmentally and socially beneficial as possible. We don't think money should be a barrier to creativity, that is why we are passionate about giving as many people as we can the chance to unlock their creative potential and experience the positive impact making can have on mental wellbeing.
You'll often find us out and about running workshops that are low cost or free for participants within the borough of Lewisham and around London. Whether that is volunteering our time and skills or through grants based programmes.
We have worked with with a range of charities, schools, youth groups, housing associations and community groups. (See below for more information about projects and partners we have collaborated with.)
We try to focus on workshops that are kind to the environment sharing our passion for mending and upcycling, we can also deliver educational talks on the environmental impact of fashion.
We love being able to bring people together to create a sense of community and pride in what they create. We look forward to many more workshops to come. If there's a project you have in mind, do get in touch - we love to chat.
