Brockley Max 2025 Solidarity Stitching

Thursday 5th June 2025 16:30 - 18:30 & 18:30 - 20:30

Join Make Mee Studio & Crofton Park Library to celebrate Brockley Max and learn hand sewn decorative techniques. You will create a fabric patch with a message that is meaningful to you.

  • Hand Embroidery and applique techniques.

You could take your patch and add it your clothes, to 'wear your heart on your sleeve', use it on a march or hang it up somewhere public for everyone to see!

You might be passionate about climate change, sanctuary seeking, gender equality, lgbtq+ issues. We'll be there to teach you the techniques to bring your message to life.

  • No experience necessary come and you'll be taught everything you need to know.

We are holding 2 sessions, from 4:30 children and young people are welcome (parents/guardians are welcome to attend with their child!) We do ask for parents to stay and assist if their child is under 8 years old.

The later session from 6:30 is aimed at adult stitchers.

  • All materials provided.

Just think about what message you want to add to your patch!

  • Tiered pricing for all budgets from £3.50 - £10.
